Artist Statement/Bio: Hello, My name is Angela and I'm a local artist living in Belchertown. I am a single lesbian, and a mother to an amazing 13 yr. old boy. I recently began learning more about my native culture and am very interested in plant and stone medicine. My most favorite place to be is by the water under a full moon. I began painting a couple years ago and love it. I am also getting into multimedia art now. I am currently looking for a gallery or a venue to show/ sell my work. I would also love to find a place to have an actual studio as I currently work out of my kitchen, however at this point a studio is out of my reach. We're always looking for artists to exhibit and demonstrate the 2nd Friday of each month at Valley Hands. I'd love to talk to you some more, I'm there thursdays and saturdays 12-6pm, maybe you could stop by. I could show you around and explain how our 'Watch Art Develop' concept works. It's a great opportunity to introduce yourself to the community and get feedback on your work (and possibly sell some!) I look forward to hearing from you and see if we can have you participate in Arts Night Out.
