Artist Statement/Bio

Multimedia artist on on the way to dream architect. My work comes together around the fundamental belief that meaningful, creative, thoughtful, vivid space is necessary for a joyous life and a joyous community. Such sacred space takes form in gardens and galleries and cozy kitchens, in words and images that open up worlds in your head or heart, in inhabiting the body with love, in the marvelous unfolding kaleidoscope of the senses. My work exists to create, celebrate, and perpetuate a sense of coming home to meaning.

Oh yeah...and I also study, practice & teach Middle Eastern-American Fusion bellydance, a gorgeous, powerful & empowering, richly historied dance form I delight in sharing. Wednesday night classes at Studio Helix on the 3rd floor of Thornes in downtown Northampton, 5:30-7pm!
