Artist Statement/Bio

Gallery A3 shows contemporary art by Valley artists. Since it opened in 2002, the gallery’s been an alternative venue for innovative art in a wide range of media and styles. Our members share business and aesthetic decisions and form a supportive community for making and exhibiting art.

Describe your organization or gallery

We are a cooperative art gallery located in downtown Amherst. The gallery has an exhibition space in the new Amherst Cinema building. We offer monthly exhibitions, salons with guest speakers, art forums with the exhibiting artists, and opening receptions in conjunction with the Amherst Art Walk.
